TROY — The Greenville girls and boys groups competed at Troy Excessive College within the MVL observe championships on Might 11. The ladies took fourth place and the boys took sixth place.
For the women, senior Hanna York took fourth within the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 17.15. Senior Tessa Nice took third within the 3200 meter run with a time of 12:21.19. Junior Addie Klosterman took first within the excessive leap with a peak of 5-3 toes. Junior Emily Gibson took first within the discus with a distance of 111-7 toes and sophomore Brookelyn Schmidt took second with 110-11 toes. Senior Samantha Suter took second within the pole vault with a peak of 10-0 toes.
For the boys, the 4×800 meter relay crew took fifth with a time of 9:05.87. The 4×100 crew took third with a time of 44.12 and the 4×200 crew took fifth with a time of 1:35.13. Within the excessive leap, junior Thomas Barr took first with a peak of 6-2 toes. Freshman Landon Noble took fourth within the discus throw with a distance of 117-0 toes.
The groups will return to Troy for the Division I observe districts on Might 17 and Might 19.
