DARKE COUNTY — Listed below are the baseball scores and stats from the video games from April 7 – 9.
April 8: Ansonia 2 at Fort Restoration 9
The Tigers misplaced at Fort Restoration of their second non-conference recreation of the season. Fort Restoration scored 5 runs within the second inning to go up 6-0 early on. Head coach Dustin Hecht stated it was the errors that helped Fort Restoration acquire a giant lead early within the recreation.
“We weren’t on level. We had 5 errors. If we now have a recreation and we’re below two errors, we’re taking part in actually good. We’ve got been popping out on prime if we now have two or much less errors. When we now have 5, we take ourselves out of the sport,” Hecht stated.
Ansonia did get on the board within the fourth. Junior Treavor Hemmerich drove within the run to go down 6-1. Fort Restoration scored two extra runs within the fourth to go up 8-1. Senior Nathan Armock helped drive in junior Jakob Creager within the subsequent inning to go down 8-2.
The workforce was just a little too passive for Hecht’s liking in the course of the recreation. He stated the workforce is best after they leap on first pitch strikes and acquire momentum early within the depend.

Versailles (5-3) swept the double header at St. Marys on April 8. They gained the primary recreation, 10-4. Senior Jared Lyons had three RBI within the recreation. Sophomore Ross Francis had two RBI and junior AJ Griesdorn and a RBI. Versailles then took recreation two, 9-6. The workforce mixed for 11 hits. The workforce will journey to Parkway on April 13 for a 5 p.m. recreation.
