The Ansonia volleyball program hosted a volleyball camp for women grades three via six on June 20 and 21 on the Ansonia Subject Home. Highschool coaches and gamers ran completely different drills and actions for the campers.
Head coach Lydia Schlarman stated the camp has been an total success seeing the campers have enjoyable and seeing the highschool gamers step up and be leaders on the camp.
“It’s encouraging to see that they’re leaders, with not getting to actually know them that a lot within the final couple years. Seeing the juniors and seniors come out right here and be leaders and the ladies look as much as them, that’s all the time promising with the upcoming season,” Schlarman stated.
“We had a superb turnout for my first yr operating the camp. There’s 35 campers, which is a superb turnout this yr. All of them appear to be having quite a lot of enjoyable,” Schlarman stated.
