ARCANUM — The Girl Trojans are transferring on within the Southwest Division III playoff event after a 10-0 win over West Liberty-Salem on Could 10 at residence.
The large rally got here within the second inning as Arcanum scored six runs, all with two outs. Head coach Mike Morris stated it solely takes one participant or one hit to get the workforce going on the plate.
“We’ve been doing that every one yr. To cap off the scoring, senior Mollie Ericksen hit a two-run residence run to middle subject to go up 7-0.
Arcanum added two extra runs within the third inning. Freshman Grace Fry and sophomore Kenzie Byrne every drove in a run. Then within the fourth, Blinn scored Ericksen on a sacrifice groundout.
Junior Hannah Kendig pitched 4 innings and allowed a success and had 4 strikeouts. Junior Belle Harleman pitched the final inning and had two strikeouts permitting no baserunners.
Fout had three hits within the sport. Burrell and Ericksen completed with two hits every. As a workforce, Arcanum had 13 hits.
Morris stated in a sport like this, he would have wished to get some extra gamers in and provides them some taking part in time. However with how the sport progressed, he simply wasn’t capable of. The Girl Trojans do have one other probability to provide extra gamers some taking part in time.
