The Franklin Monroe volleyball program hosted a youth camp for women grades 2 – 5 from June 12 – 14 at the highschool fitness center. Coaches and highschool gamers taught the younger campers totally different expertise and the fundamentals of volleyball.
Head coach Angie Filbrun mentioned they’ve 31 campers this yr and it’s good to see that many children within the fitness center studying the sport and having enjoyable. She additionally mentioned it was enjoyable to see the highschool volleyball gamers assist out and be part of the camp.
“Now we have 31 little campers this yr. We’re excited to have that many children within the fitness center. Simply watching them get their palms on a volleyball and having some enjoyable with the sport,” Filbrun mentioned.
“Simply to look at them (highschool gamers) work together, educate and be taught the sport together with the opposite children is rewarding for me and for them as effectively,” Filbrun mentioned.
