Greenville sends extra athletes to trace regional event at district finals

TROY — The Greenville girls and boys monitor groups competed within the Southwest Division I District monitor finals at Troy on Could 19. The highest 4 in every occasion moved on to the Regional event. As a crew, the women took eighth within the crew standings and the boys took 14th.

For the women, senior Samantha Suter took third within the pole vault with a top of 10-6 ft. Junior Emily Gibson took fourth within the discus with a distance of 107-11 ft. Each will be a part of junior Addie Klosterman on the Southwest Division I Regional event at Wayne Excessive College.

Senior Hanna York took seventh within the 100 meter hurdles finals with a time of 17.05. Junior Jadyn Norris took eighth within the 400 meter sprint finals with a time of 1:05.84. Senior Tessa High quality was one spot shy of shifting on to regionals within the 3200 meter run. She took fifth with a time of 12:27.92.

The Southwest Division I Regional event at Wayne Excessive College may have their prelims on Could 24 and the finals on Could 26.
