Greenville, Versailles ladies observe compete in observe and area regionals

DARKE COUNTY — The Versailles ladies observe crew and the Greenville observe groups competed of their divisional regional finals on Might 27 and 26. The highest 4 in every occasion moved on to the State match on June 2 and three.

For Greenville, they competed at Wayne Excessive College on Might 24 and 26 within the Division I Southwest Monitor and Discipline Regional match. Junior Addie Klosterman took sixth within the excessive leap with a peak of 5-00 ft. Senior Samantha Suter took eleventh in pole vault with a peak of 10-00 ft. Junior Emily Gibson took tenth within the discus with a distance of 108-07 ft.

For Versailles, the women competed at Piqua Excessive College on Might 25 and 27 within the Division II Southwest Monitor and Discipline Regional match. Senior Lexi Magoto took third within the 400 meter sprint with a time of 57.76 and can compete in Columbus. Freshman Katey Litten took seventh with 1:00.53. The 4×200 meter relay crew took eighth with a time of 1:49.10. The 4×400 meter crew will head to Columbus with a fourth place end with a time of 4:05.11.

Within the lengthy leap, freshman Elli Stammen took eighth with a distance of 16-11.50 ft. Junior Heidi Stammen took fourth within the pole vault with a peak of 11-04. Senior Brynn Briscoe took eighth with 10-00 ft. Sophomore Margret Mcglinch took eighth within the discus with a distance of 107-02 ft. Junior Tori Tyo took fourth within the shot put with a distance of 36-01 ft. Sophomore Molly Phelan took fifteenth with 32-05.50.

The highest 4 from the occasions will compete at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in Columbus for a shot at a State championship.
